Open H1B Locations, search your city, and open the location profile.
- Scan top companies (who files here)
- Scan top job titles (what roles are common)
- Check salary medians to calibrate expectations
Step 2: Build a shortlist of employers
Click companies from the location page. On each company profile, check whether filings look recent and consistent.
- Are there filings in the latest year?
- Does the company file for roles like yours?
- Are salaries in your expected range?
